Long story short, i'm in an abusive relationship. I moved states away from my original home to be with him, but now I want out. I have no family to come back to, only a friend who cannot afford to bring me back home. He's moved out all of my things, sold them, and I have nothing but clothes. I tried the local shelters, but they can only help for so long, and they told me I have to be on a waiting list which takes 6 months or longer for them to get anyone moved out to a better place. I was laid off from my job and he spent all of my bank account money. I have no money. I just need enough money to get a place for a few months or a plane ride home. It's hard to talk to anyone as he won't let me leave while he is home, and I am not allowed to use the phone at that time either. With no family, I have no one else who could help.
